Our Vision
“Engaged communities empowering people to enhance health and quality of mind, body and life.”
Our vision will always be a primary motivator for us. Our vision will evolve as we evolve. We understand that to impact the wider community’s health and connection, our vision must be a primary motivator for everything we do.
Our Mission
“Industry-leading research and program to build excellence and shape our industry through health, training, community initiatives and intensive therapy.”
Our mission is to enhance the lives of people with disabilities by enabling opportunities for choice, inclusion and achievement. We also wish to create a community space focussed on health and wellbeing to counter the increased feeling of social isolation in our community.
Our strategy is a constant evolution as we commit to remaining at the innovative forefront in our industry. For us to be successful in delivering our mission, we focus on:
- Our Engaged Community
- Our Quality of Care
- Our Team Professionalism
- Our Research and Innovation
- Our Industry Leadership
Our Values
Our philosophy is that therapy is as diverse and unique as people are, and therefore our programs are designed and prescribed to meet the client’s individual goals, needs and conditions.
We also believe health and wellbeing is a very personal journey full of highs and lows, and understand the importance of being surrounded by a great team of people – we’re there to support you through both the good times and the not so good times.
Our mission stems from the four values that we hold dearest:
- COMMUNITY
- INNOVATE
- EDUCATE
- COLLABORATE
With proven experience in collaborative health interventions, we have the passion and experience to ensure inclusion and diversity is in all that we do.

Our Story
Since 2009, Enhanced Living (previously operating as Enhanced Health) has delivered health and disability services on the Sunshine Coast, through both individual and group sessions.
In 2019 we moved into our state-of-the-art facility off Dalton Drive in Maroochydore [link to Maroochydore], conveniently located on the fringes of the new Smart City. Clients with reduced mobility and accessibility needs had not previously had a facility that offered fully inclusive activity and exercise-based rehabilitation on the Sunshine Coast and to this day it remains one of the few facilities in Queensland that are equipped with neurorehabilitation (neurological rehabilitation) equipment including our own onsite heated hydrotherapy pool.
Our flagship facility in Maroochydore provides spaces for social connection, clinical intervention, exercise programming and specialist equipment for rehabilitation for neurological conditions, neurorehabilitation and disabilities.
Founded by David Nunn (who holds a Graduate Diploma of Clinical Exercise Physiology and a Bachelor of Sports and Exercise Science) and wife Selena Nunn (an experienced, credentialed and awarded business woman who also happens to be a trained chef!). Together, the pair have built a reputation as one of the most well-equipped facilities on the Sunshine Coast whilst amassing a team of experienced multidisciplinary clinicians. With ambitious growth plans, there are now Enhanced Living locations in Gympie, Beerwah, Noosa and more coming soon.
Both Selena and David have indigenous family heritage as well as family members with disabilities, so have lived experience. With a young family, David and Selena have personal motivation to want to impact the gap in health outcomes and life expectancy for both of these important groups in our community.
