Exercise Physiology

The job description of an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) can be very diverse. Our AEP’s have run Cardiac Rehabilitation Clinics for Queensland Health, run Diabetes programs in Western Queensland communities, taught neurological rehabilitation and professional practice to university students, worked with athletes including athlete in wheelchairs, taught clients with spinal injuries to walk again, worked at cardiac investigation clinics and within fall prevention programs. Our program delivery includes 1:1 or group based exercise sessions either as your health consultant or in gym/pool trainer.

All these experiences come from diverse work environments including Multidisciplinary Private practices, hospitals, Private Clinics, University clinics and on Government projects.
An AEP skill set is to provide accurate exercise testing and exercise prescription based on scientific evidence and prescreening. The exercise prescriptions can range from gentle mobility and activation exercises up to strength and conditioning. It all depends on your needs, goals and conditions.

We have developed a reputation on the Sunshine Coast-Brisbane -Goldcoast for achieving results for clients suffering from complex conditions and are excited to offer our diverse experience and skills to you.
