Complex, unique and dynamic are all good qualities of a challenge, particularly when it involves people, their function and their ability to engage with their families and the community.
Humans are designed to move, and the improvements that exercise can have on physical, emotion and mental health go far beyond what most people think is possible. I have a passion for complex cases and pride myself on the exceptional connection I make with all my patients. In person sessions allow us to see many angles, biomechanical improvements and physical responses that are unique to each person.
Rehabilitation is multifaceted with all aspects of the patient journey contributing to the achievement of short- and long-term goals. Cameron is a long-term Accredited Exercise Physiologist who has been a part of the many developmental phases of Enhanced Health. He graduated with a Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Science – with Event Management Minor from the University of the Sunshine Coast and has been with Enhanced Health since.
Cameron has extensive knowledge and application in the Spinal Cord Injury and Autism sectors. His treatment sessions are backed by evidence-based and unique exercise modalities that aim to achieve optimal function. Cameron’s goal for all of his patients is to see them achieve at least one goal that they thought, or were told, was not possible. He constantly strives to be a better practitioner and challenges his knowledge and application (and those around him) to continue his formal and informal professional development.
Cameron is an advocate for great communication and can chat about almost anything. This can sometimes include his life journey of growing up in a country town, attending boarding school and then relocating to the Sunshine Coast to pursue his career and an active lifestyle. Outside of work you will find Cameron on the field playing various codes of football, watching professional sport or spending time with his dog.
