Lauren Turner

Exercise as a treatment modality is always a collaborative team approach and I’m incredibly delighted to be a part of someone’s journey.

Assisting someone to overcome presented strategies and current daily challenges can make an enormous difference to their everyday life. While it may only seem small on the surface, it can be life changing for that person and their family and friends. Seeing the progress of an individual is what inspires my work and all that I strive to do. I believe in the use of exercise and physical activity to enrich the lives of all those I meet, while finding unique methods to enhance personal wellbeing.

Lauren is an experienced Accredited Exercise Physiologist with extensive history in treating Spinal Cord Injury and complex neurological disorders. Lauren completed a Bachelor of Exercise Science and Graduate Diploma of Exercise Science (Griffith University) where she was provided the opportunities to develop her craft in leading neurological treatment clinics. Lauren then moved into private practise where she continued her professional development across all pathological conditions while focusing on the neurological sector. Lauren believes that individualisation is the key, and no two treatments will be the same. She believes that as health professionals in this rapidly changing world, continual professional development and skill develop is essential to her treatment delivery and patient success. Lauren enjoys the great outdoors, and you’ll find her exploring the beaches of the Sunshine Coast, and attending her favourite Pilates classes.
